Alex

Alex has been a carpenter since 2017. Before that he studied town planning, finishing an MA at the University of Manchester, and worked as a bike mechanic and a house builder. He did a City & Guilds joinery course in 2016, then went deeper into traditional techniques with a heritage building course through The King's Foundation in 2020.

James

James has been a carpenter since 2018, having studied fine art at Central Saint Martins. He moved into hands-on work to work more directly with materials and process, and has since built up a broad skillset across residential joinery, cabinetry and bespoke furniture-making.
